Travel Health Insurance

US programs
Students must provide Health Insurance with a minimum coverage of US $50.000 including all out-of-pocket costs including any medications (even over the counter), transportation to the medical center, or any other medical institution. Health insurance should provide full coverage and not require the student to pay anything at all for any type of service, tests, labs, medication, etc.
We can not recommend or promote any specific travel insurance but over the years our students have used some companies such as Mapfre, Allianz, and Assist Card.
Please keep in mind to provide an Emergency contact number in the US in the health form.

However, we recommend that families carefully review the policy details to ensure it meets their specific needs, particularly regarding personal circumstances or additional coverage preferences.

Students attending UBC Future Global Leaders are covered by health insurance included in the tuition fee through iMED Health Insurance.
