Students requires a visa to participate in any of the programs. It's the parents’ responsibility to make sure students have a valid visa and passport for entering the United States. Below, you can see the Visa options to attend:


1 - Tourist B1/B2 visa

  • Further information on the visa application process, including application steps and required documentation, can be found on the U.S. Department of State website.

2 - Visa Waiver (ESTA)

  • International students from certain eligible countries may also be able to visit the U.S. without a visa through the Visa Waiver Program if they meet requirements, including having a valid Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) approval

3 - US Permanent residence

  • Permanent residence includes the right to visit the U.S. for and Permanent residents continue to hold citizenship of another country.

Visa applications are now subject to a greater degree of review than in the past so it is important to apply for your visa as soon as possible.


Eduexplora provides an invitation letter for visa request purposes, however Eduexplora is not responsible for the visa being granted or being granted before the start of the program. Your child must keep a copy of the letter when traveling, in order to present it to the airline, immigration, or security officers.
