Communication

Students are allowed to use their phones on campus except during the classes and program activities period.

Eduexplora uses the Telegram App as the official communication tool to keep parents, students, and chaperones connected in real-time.

Telegram is a user-friendly messaging app that will connect the chaperones to the students and parents in real time. Similar to WhatsApp, Telegram offers more privacy and security when sending instant messages.

Installing and using Telegram is very easy. Just follow the steps below and start joining the provided links to keep track of Barbara the whole time!

1- Open the Telegram App
Download Telegram via Google Play Store or Apple Store on both parents' and students' devices.

2 - Join the Students' Group (only for students)

The Telegram group is a tool for chaperones and students from each country to interact and exchange messages during the program. Parents are not allowed and will be removed by the chaperones if join the students' group.

3 - Join the Parents' Channel (only for parents and legal guardians)

Unlike groups, channels aren’t meant for conversations but for chaperones to broadcast reports and messages to the parents. Parents are only able to send messages and reply to chaperones privately.

4 - Communicate with the chaperones
To send private messages to chaperones, simply type the chaperone username in the Telegram search bar. You can find it in the upper part of the screen. Once you see the person you’ve been looking for, tap their name. A new chat window will open for that contact and you can start a conversation or even make a phone call.
