The Dorms

Students and staff will all stay at Residence Halls Unit 2. Most suites range in size, they have 2 rooms (single or doubles) sharing a bathroom inside each suit.

Unit 2

This year, students will be accommodated at Unit 2, located on Towle Hall, 2650 Haste St, Berkeley, CA 94720, United States

Bedroom

The bedrooms in this Unit are triple, and students will be separated by gender and age range. The University always tries to keep the cultural diversity when they are selecting room mattes.

Classrooms

Students will be attending classes in several buildings around the university.

• International House Classrooms

Theater at David Brower Center

Here, the student will participate in a welcome meeting and closure ceremony.

Lobby

The Lobby Area is the most used meeting point for students, staff, chaperones and Eduexplora. And can be used by all students on their free time.

Laundry

All students have access to the laundry on-site in the residence halls. It is located in the Central Building and Staff from Berkeley guide students on its use during the free as much as needed.

Dining Hall

Students will enjoy three meals every day in the Crossroads, only a half-block away unit 2. Crossroads serves a variety of eats, all with close attention to food labels, allergen-free platforms, and dietary needs. Menu available here: https://dining.berkeley.edu/menus/

University Maps

Campus Check-in and Check-out for students traveling on their own

Students who meet the group directly on campus should check in directly at the assigned Residence. The contact information of the staff in charge of checking in/out and more detailed information is sent to all the students traveling outside of the group flight a few weeks before the program.

Amazon Hub Lockers

There are Amazon Hub Lockers available on campus in case students and families would like to shop online. Keep in mind, that all packages must be sent to the Amazon Hub lockers and never be sent directly to the University. Staff informs students which lockers are closest to the dormitories.
